What the work covers
Six areasRooftop and inline exhaust fans
Upblast, inline and utility fans diagnosed, repaired and replaced, including curbs, connections and weather seals within our scope.
Make-up air units
Gas-fired and unheated make-up air systems serviced for proper airflow, heating operation, filtration and control.
Motors, belts and bearings
Motors, drives, belts, pulleys and bearings inspected for wear, alignment and operating condition.
Airflow and building pressure
Exhaust and replacement air measured together to correct negative pressure, difficult doors, drafts and odour migration.
Controls and interlocks
Timers, sensors, starters and operating interlocks tested so ventilation equipment starts and stops as intended.
Noise and vibration
Fan speed, alignment, bearings and vibration isolation checked to reduce noise and prevent premature equipment failure.
What it costs
Montreal & West Island, 2026Commercial service calls start at $500. Commercial rates can differ based on the equipment, access requirements and scope of work. We explain the applicable charges when arranging service.
You receive a written price before repair work begins. Installation pricing depends on equipment capacity, roof access, curbs, duct connections, electrical or gas requirements and the airflow testing required. Maintenance is quoted separately according to the equipment and visit frequency.
Questions buyers ask
Almost always pressure. If exhaust runs without enough make-up air, the building pulls odour from wherever it can.
Twice a year for kitchens, once for washrooms and general extraction. Belts and bearings decide whether the motor survives.
No. We service the fan, the make-up air and the interlocks. Grease cleaning goes to a certified hood cleaner and we can name one.
Usually, yes. We plan timing with your team in advance, and the curb work is the part that decides the schedule.
The building is negative. Adding exhaust without adding make-up air is the usual cause.
Yes, and we write the readings down so next year has something to compare against.
Often. Vibration isolators, alignment and a speed change fix most complaints without a new fan.
Emergency service available seven days a week. Our phones are answered every day.
Service documentation, included
Each applicable unit is identified and documented so the building has a clear record of its condition, operation and completed work.
